Theater InterAkt explores historical layers of movement, describing migration waves to Malmö, Sweden, and the act of making a home in this new city.
This piece explores three waves of migration to Malmö: survivors from concentration camps after the end of the Second World War, labor migrants in the early 1970s and refugees in 2015.
This show was a community-based multi-media experience that involved theater, dance, installation, singing and performance. All of the performers and participants themselves had participated in migration in one form or another.
